PRAGMATIC AND STYLISTIC FEATURES OF APHORISMS IN LANGUAGES WITH DIFFERENT SYSTEMS

This study investigates the pragmatic and stylistic features of aphorisms in languages with different structural systems, focusing on English and Uzbek. Aphorisms serve as concise linguistic expressions conveying universal truths, cultural values, or social norms. The research employs a comparative approach to analyze aphorisms’ stylistic devices, pragmatic functions, and communicative effectiveness. Results reveal the coexistence of universal and culture-specific features, highlighting aphorisms’ role in language, culture, and communication.
