Bulk Segregant Analysis of Field Survivorship in Senecio lautus

We conducted reciprocal transplants of recombinants created by crossing two divergent coastal ecotypes. We created three replicate recombinant F8 populations (A, B and C) and planted seeds from these populations in the two environments that the parental ecotypes inhabit, namely Sand Dune and Rocky Headland. We collected survivors from both environments, extracted DNAs from each individual, and pooled DNAs from survivors of the same replicate and environment.
