This data depicts the boundaries of the Airport Influence Area (AIA) of the Salinas Municipal Airport in the City of Salinas, Monterey County, California. "The California Airport Land Use Planning Handbook" describes the AIA as "the area in which current or future airport-related noise, overflight, safety, or airspace protection factors may significantly affect land uses or necessitate restrictions on those uses as determined by an airport."
