Discrimination faced by employed people in China 2024, by gender

According to a survey about Chinese career women conducted in 2024, about 54 percent of female respondents said they had experienced gender discrimination at work, whereas only 6.6 percent of male respondents had similar experience. Meanwhile, more men than women felt that age was affecting their career prospects.

根据2024年针对中国职业女性进行的调查，约54%的女性受访者表示在工作中经历过性别歧视，而仅有6.6%的男性受访者有类似的遭遇。与此同时，相较于女性，更多的男性认为年龄正在影响他们的职业前景。
