Understanding the response of soil microbial communities to different artificial reforestation strategies is crucial for tree species selection and successful forest restoration. In this study, the effect of three artificial forest restoration modes, including Cunninghamia lanceolata forest (CL), Liquidambar formosana forest (LF), and mixed forest of Liquidambar formosana and Schima superba (MIX), on soil bacterial and fungal communities at 0-10 cm and 10-30 cm depths were investigated through high throughput sequencing in a subtropical forest.
