This dataset records regional forestry industry gross output value statistics from the 1999 National Forestry Statistics, covering the following items: region, total gross output value, primary industry total, agricultural subtotal (with breakdowns including flowers, tea, mulberry, fruit), animal husbandry subtotal (including hunting industry), forestry subtotal (including artificial forest stands, forest products, village and below-village bamboo and wood logging), secondary industry total, mining subtotal (including timber and bamboo logging and extraction industry), manufacturing total (including wood processing and bamboo, rattan, palm, grass products subtotal: sawn timber and wood chip processing, artificial panel manufacturing, wood products industry, bamboo, rattan, palm, grass products industry, forestry chemical products manufacturing), electricity, gas and water production and supply industry, construction industry, tertiary industry total (including wholesale and retail trade, catering industry, transportation, storage and post and telecommunications industry, real estate industry, social services subtotal with breakdowns including tourism industry and other items), supplementary data: total output value of tea, mulberry and fruit in all mountainous counties, total output value of tea, mulberry and fruit in all hilly counties. Additionally, the 1999 National Forestry Statistics includes data on afforestation and forest industrial management, as well as personnel salary and education data of the forestry system.
