The Canadian Co-Operative Election Study, 2011

This dataset contains an internet survey of 2800 Canadians interviewed in the weeks before the May 2, 2011 Election. 2059 respondents to the initial pre-election survey completed a second internet questionnaire in the weeks immediately following the election. The Survey was conducted by YouGov. Matching and Weighting: YouGov interviewed 3511 respondents who were then matched down to a sample of 2800 to produce the final dataset. The respondents were matched on gender, age, education, region, and recontact status. YouGov then weighted the matched set of survey respondents to known marginal for the general population of the Canada. A weight is included in the dataset
