Appendix of Eldest Sons of the Republic

Appendix Description This appendix provides supplementary materials for the article “Eldest Sons of the Republic.” It includes both author-compiled original data and publicly available official lists from the SASAC website. The materials are organized into seven sections: Appendices 1–3 contain official lists of strategic SOEs and their leaders from 2003 to 2018. Appendices 4–6 present original datasets on educational backgrounds, leadership mobility, and intra-SOE leadership transfers. Appendix 7 offers an overview of the constructed database, including coding methods and data sources. All third-party materials are appropriately cited, and the dataset construction follows established biographical coding practices.
