Marburg marburgvirus Genome sequencing and assembly during mouse-adaptation

Marburg virus was passaged 24 times in SCID mice. By the last passage, the virus was completely lethal in both SCID and WT mice. We are attempting to study how the distribution of mutations changed during the adaptation of the virus to this new host. A sample of the virus stock after 2 cell culture passages (Vero E6 cells) was also sequenced to evaluate the extent of changes induced by the cell culture system.
