Complete genomes sequences of Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated from patients with recurrent episodes of bacteremia due to KPC-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae in Torino, Italiy.

Here, we describe the evolution of a cross-resistance to ceftazidime-avibactam, cefiderocol, and aztreonam-avibactam in longitudinal clinical strains isolated from a single patient with recurrent episodes of bacteremia due to KPC-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae. Emergence of cross-resistance was due deletion within blaKPC gene in a single isolate following antimcrobial treatment.
