Microbial community characterization of small fermeters enhancing long-chain carboxylates production

Anaerobic fermentation can be an effective approach to convert raw carbon dioxide to chemical building blocks. The aim of the study was to find the key operational conditions (i.e., pH, temperature and substrate ratios) to favour the selectivity of the process. Microbial community composition was performed based on DNA signatures.
