Table displaying cell type associations with genes under negative selection, as identified using the PAML branch model in the lineages leading to humans, Homo-Pan, great apes, Haplorhini, and primates. Cell type associations were determined using single-cell RNA-seq-derived transcriptomic signatures of cell types from the mouse whole nervous system (Zeisel et al. 2018) and analysed with a linear model with 10,000 permutation tests.
