Regulation of COIII and CYb editing in Procyclic and Bloodstream Trypanosoma brucei

Paired-end Illumina MiSeq was performed to obtain the full population of A6, COIII, and CYb mRNA in strains of procyclic (PF) and bloodstream (BSF) from Trypanosoma brucei brucei cells (Lister427). Alignment and analysis of pre-edited, partially edited, and fully edited sequences is possible using the Trypanosome RNA Editing Alignment Tool (TREAT) available on github.com/ubccr/treat.
