Data for the article: Scaling and stoichiometry of seed nitrogen and phosphorous across Chinese grasslands

We selected sites that received no grazing or human disturbance. At each site, we randomly established three 3 × 3 m plots for sampling. In each plot, we collected mature and fresh seeds that were generally dark, brown or yellow in color and were dropped from the mother plant. For each species, more than 20 individuals were collected from each plot and pooled into a single sample. A bootstrapping method was applied to generate boot.csv, relying on existing data to estimate the sampling distribution at each point across the abscissa.
