EDOMETRIC TESTS ON ROCKFILL MATERIAL

This data set corresponds to the results of edometric tests carried out on rockfill (limestone) from blasting excavations on the slopes of the San Juan river, in the province of the same name, Argentina.This material will be used in the 3C zone of the El Tambolar dam, which is an 83 m high CFRD dam currently under construction.For the edometric tests, a 400 mm diameter floating ring cell was built, which allowed testing samples of 3” maximum size and applying vertical pressures up to 1.5 MPa.This data set can support the development and validation of machine learning models for the analysis of soil deformability characteristics of rockfill.
