Consumption volume of primary zinc in India FY 2017-2019

In fiscal year 2019, the consumption volume of primary zinc across India was approximately 770 thousand metric tons. Zinc is used primarily for its anti-corrosion properties in the galvanizing industry. The consumption of the metal across the country increased by 12 percent compared to the previous year.
