资源简介:
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a serious public health problem worldwide, in both humans and animals. The main driver for the evolution of bacterial resistance is the abusive usage of antibiotics in human and veterinary medicine. In Lebanon, antibiotics remain heavily administered for therapeutic and prophylaxis purposes in veterinary medicine. The aim of the present study was to assess the occurrence of expanded-spectrum cephalosporins (ESC)-resistant Enterobacterales in a nationwide survey of Lebanese broiler farms, and to determine their phylogenetic relationship and their genetic determinants of resistance.
