Mapping Invasive Hogweed Infestation in the Ugra National Park (Russia), 2026

Expert manual vectorization of invasive hogweed infestation areas (Heracleum mantegazzianum Sommier & Levier incl. Heracleum sosnowskyi Manden.) for the Ugra National Park. The mapping was performed using an RGB composite from the Sentinel-2B satellite (MSI sensor) acquired on July 17, 2026. Data Format: GeoPackage (.gpkg)Spatial Reference System: WGS 84 / UTM zone 36N (EPSG:32636) The total area of hogweed infestation stands at 15.4 ha within the boundaries of the Ugra National Park, and 79.5 ha within a 1-km buffer zone around its borders.
