This study aimed to explore the carbohydrate feed for honey bees from the low-grade longan fruit, as well as evaluated the phytochemicals in the of longan syrup as a supplement for honey bees to enhance their health, particularly in terms of survival and gut microbial composition. Findings suggest that lower concentrations of longan syrup may advisable beneficial for bee health. Additionally, longan syrup supplementation promoted the growth of beneficial fermentative microorganisms which are advantageous for honey bees.
