A model of coercive control in higher education: a qualitative study

A growing body of research indicates that pyschological coervice control poses a threat in academic environments. Little is known, however, about the process, the dynamics and the phases used to impose a variety of non-violent assaults on students and academics. A lack of awareness of coercive intimidation and pyschological coercive control obstructs a student's path to academic achievement, which can have an impact on his or her emotional and mental well-being and dimishes the prosperity of society.日益增多的研究表明，心理强制控制（psychological coercive control）在学术环境中构成威胁。然而，目前学界对针对学生与学者实施各类非暴力侵害行为的具体流程、作用机制与发展阶段仍知之甚少。对胁迫性恐吓（coercive intimidation）与心理强制控制缺乏认知，会阻碍学生的学术成就之路，进而对其情绪与心理健康状况造成负面影响，并损害社会的整体繁荣。
