This document is the "Notice of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Forwarding the Emergency Notice of the State Council on Strengthening Wildlife Protection and Severely Cracking Down on Illegal and Criminal Activities", issued on February 11, 1991. At present, the indiscriminate hunting and killing of wild animals in some areas of this region remains quite severe. Cases of hunting and killing rare and endangered wild animals occur from time to time, and illegal and criminal activities including illegal business operations, purchase, resale and smuggling of wild animals and their products have been repeatedly banned but continue unabated. In response to these serious issues, the State Council issued the aforementioned Emergency Notice on Strengthening Wildlife Protection and Severely Cracking Down on Illegal and Criminal Activities, which is hereby forwarded by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
