National Mareographic Network - Dataset

The National Mareographic Network (NMR) consists of 36 measuring stations uniformly distributed throughout Italy and located mainly within port facilities. All stations are equipped with a local data management and storage system and a real-time transmission system (UMTS) at the ISPRA headquarters in Rome. In addition, in 9 strategic stations for the measurement of particular phenomena (anomalous waves) there is a second satellite data transmission system with IRIDIUM technology that guarantees the connection even in the presence of black-out situations of the UMTS system.Since the new National Mareographic Network is fully operational, ISPRA provides users with updated information on time series, real-time observations, prediction of astronomical tide data, data analysis for design and scientific purposes.国家海洋观测网络（National Mareographic Network, NMR）共设36个测量站点，均匀分布于意大利全境，且大多设于港口设施内部。所有站点均配备本地数据管理与存储系统，以及一套实时传输系统（UMTS），数据可通过该系统传输至位于罗马的ISPRA总部。此外，针对9个用于监测特殊现象（异常海浪）的战略站点，额外部署了第二套基于铱星（IRIDIUM）技术的卫星数据传输系统，即便UMTS系统出现通信中断场景，该系统仍可保障通信连接。自全新的国家海洋观测网络全面投入运营以来，ISPRA可为用户提供时序数据、实时观测资料、天文潮汐预报数据，以及面向工程设计与科学研究用途的数据分析服务。
