This table shows trends in sales prices of existing owner-occupied houses displayed. In addition to price indices, number of homes sold published, the average selling price and the total value of the sale prices of these properties. The price indices for the existing owner-occupied homes are based on a comprehensive registration of sales transactions of dwellings by the Land registry and WOZ values of all homes in the Netherlands. Index sequences may fluctuate, for example when the number transactions of a particular type of property in a province are limited. The it is therefore recommended that the long-term developments of the use price indices. The average selling price may show a different development than the price index of existing owner-occupied homes. The development of the average indeed, sales price is not an indicator of the price evolution of existing owner-occupied homes. For more information on this, see section 3.
