Dataset of "Prospective Evaluation of Ventricular Assist Device Risk Scores’ Capacity to Predict Cardiopulmonary Exercise Parameters"

Full data of the study including:

Mortality Cohort (Tab 1): status at 90-days following LVAD implantation, mortality/transplantation time following LVAD implantation (if applicable), risk scores (DTRS, HMRS, MELD, MELD-XI, MELD-Na), parameters used in the calculation of risk scores, baseline variables.

CPET Cohort (Tab 2): Cardiopulmonary exercise test parameter values for the pre-implantation and post-implantation period (Further information about the CPET cohort patients can be found in the "Mortality Cohort" tab tracking patient study ID numbers).

Reminder to prevent confusion:

*Laboratory values <1 are considered as 1 while calculating MELD, MELD-XI, MELD-Na scores to avoid negative results in logarithms.
*Serum sodium values higher than 140 and lower than 125 are considered as 140 and 125 respectively while calculating MELD-Na .
