The Impact of Paradigm Shift In Strategic Consulting due to AI (Artificial Intelligence) Disruptive Innovation: A Systems Theory Perspective

ABSTRACTThis study assesses how the disruptive innovation of artificial intelligence (AI) has affected the strategic consulting industry and related practises. The systems theory is used to analyse the relevant data. This article offers a descriptive analysis in order to help organisations respond to disruption in the present and the future more effectively.The research's findings are based on a thematic analysis of 10 interviews with participants who had backgrounds in consulting, innovation, and strategic management, among other fields. Despite the fact that businesses lack the supportive ecosystem and pertinent knowledge needed by both clients and staff to systematically respond to disruption today, according to this research, organisations are still working on the necessary solutions for both the present and the future. This paper identifies 3 key areas that consulting organisations must focus on to effectively respond to AI disruption in the future: AI-Enhanced Consulting, Navigating AI Challenges and Collaborative Consulting
