This dataset is a socio-economic statistical dataset for counties and cities in Jiangsu Province in 1995. It was compiled and organized based on the Jiangsu Statistical Yearbook and other relevant statistical materials. The dataset covers categories including population, employed persons, gross domestic product (GDP), transportation, completed fixed asset investment, culture and public health, fiscal revenue, science, technology and education, etc. Specific indicators include: number of on-post staff and workers (unit: 10,000 persons), rural employed persons (unit: 10,000 persons), local gross domestic product (unit: 10,000 yuan), total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery (unit: 10,000 yuan), number of industrial enterprises (unit: units), total industrial output value (unit: 10,000 yuan), highway passenger traffic (unit: 10,000 persons), highway freight traffic (unit: 10,000 tons), urban fixed asset investment (unit: 10,000 yuan), number of public libraries (unit: units), collection volume of public libraries (unit: 1,000 volumes), number of health institutions (unit: units), number of hospital beds in health institutions (unit: beds), medical technical personnel (unit: persons), and local government general budget revenue (unit: 10,000 yuan).
