Green infrastructures play a key role in the functionality and resilience of urban ecosystems. They can be developed at the soil surface but also on the roofs of buildings because of the scarcity of space and land pressure in the city and the large roof surfaces available. The thickness, physical, chemical and biological properties of the Technosoils of green infrastructures on rooftops are highly variable according to the aesthetic and productive function of the rooftop, that leading to more or less favourable conditions for soil biodiversity. The aim of this study was to investigate the abundance and diversity of bacteria, fungi, nematodes, collembola and plants communities (plants, microbial and faunal communities) in relation with abiotic parameters of soils. Biological and soil samplings and vegetation identification were conducted on 12 green roofs of the Paris region (France).
