资源简介:
In the context of digital transformation and high-quality economic development in China, an in-depth study of the carbon rebound effect during digital-real integration and the elucidation of its complex influence mechanisms on carbon emissions are crucial for promoting China's green and low-carbon transformation, thereby achieving sustainable development. Based on panel data from 189 prefecture-level cities in China from 2011 to 2019, this study empirically examines the impact and mechanisms of digital-real integration on urban carbon rebound. The entropy value method and coupling coordination degree method are applied to measure the level of digital-real integration, and a spatial autoregressive model is introduced. The results indicate that: (1) Digital-real integration exhibits an inverted N-type non-linear relationship of "inhibit-promote-inhibit" with carbon emissions; (2) This integration can significantly reduce the carbon emissions of a city while producing a positive spatial spillover effect on the carbon emission reduction of neighboring cities; (3) Mechanistic analyses suggest that green innovation and natural gas storage and peak shaving can positively modulate the suppression of carbon emissions by digital-real integration.
