On July 10, 2012, a flight experiment for thermal infrared hyperspectral airborne remote sensing data was conducted using a Y-12 aircraft equipped with a TASI sensor over the 30 km × 30 km core observation area in the middle reaches of the Heihe River. The TASI sensor features a wavelength range of 8–11.5 μm and a spatial resolution of 3 meters.
