Simpson Desert Night Spotlighting

This dataset has been collected since 1990 and contains information about animal species spotted during nightly surveys. Researchers drive along 10 kilometer tracks using spotlights to sample for species. Species contained within this dataset include: - Barn Owl - Black Shouldered kite - Bustard - Button Quail - Camel - Cats - Dasycercus cristicauda - Dingos - Diplodactylus conspicillatus - Echidna - Fox - Galah - Microbats - Mus musculus - Nephrurus levis - Notomys alexis - Owlet nightjar - Pogona vitticeps - Pseudomys hermannsburgensis - Rabbit - Red kangaroo - Rodent - Small mammal - Sminthopsis crassicaudata - Spotted Nightjar - Tachyglossus aculeatu - Wedgebill - Western Brown Snake This dataset is stored within a Microsoft Access database and is approximately 50MB and growing.
