Analysis of mouse interpeduncular nucleus transcriptional response to restraint stress

The interpeduncular nucleus (IPN) is known to influence behavioral reactivity in response to emotional states and highly salient stimuli, including acute stress. Utilizing an established model of acute stress, five minutes of restraint, we aimed to better understand the transcriptional response to stress within the IPN by performed single-cell RNA sequencing on IPN punches from control and restrained mice.
