Road Type
收藏资源简介:
The Idaho Transportation Department's (ITD) Roads and Highways Linear Referencing System (LRS) road type event polyline feature class distinguishes road segments based on road type, which can be a road, ramp, or port of entry/rest area. Roads are public thoroughfares or routes used primarily for the movement of traffic. Ramps are roads that allow vehicles to enter or exit a main road safely by providing space to change speed and navigate the change in elevation if necessary. Port of Entries within states are locations where a state enforces commercial vehicle regulations. Rest Areas are facilities for travelers to rest, often located every 50-100 miles along major roads, providing amenities like restrooms and picnic tables. This layer is an export from Roads and Highways that represents only the active records within the LRS. This content item is a sub-layer of the Road Network - Other authoritative feature layer.
