Aflatoxins, primarily produced by two phytopathogenic fungi, Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus, are among the most powerful carcinogens. The aflatoxin biosynthesis gene cluster contains 25 genes that are involved in aflatoxin production. Due to the differences in toxin-production among Aspergillus species and its correspondence with their genomics, election of the target gene has to be carefully studied to ensure RNA interference silencing success and efficacy.

黄曲霉毒素,主要由两种植物病原真菌,即黄曲霉(Aspergillus flavus)和寄生曲霉(Aspergillus parasiticus)产生,是已知最强的致癌物质之一。黄曲霉毒素的生物合成基因簇包含25个基因,这些基因与黄曲霉毒素的产生密切相关。鉴于不同曲霉种属在毒素产生上的差异及其与基因组学的对应关系,针对目标基因的选择必须经过仔细研究,以确保RNA干扰沉默的有效性和成功率。
