Whole genome resequencing of NIH hairless mice. Mus musculus

The NIH hairless mouse is a spontaneous coat mutant mouse discovered during the breeding of a closed group of NIH mice. To locate its mutant gene, two mixed pools were constructed for BSA with hairless and normal as extreme characteristics; the normal pool was named R03, and the hairless pool was named R04, and each pool contained DNA samples from 30 mice (15 males and 15 females) with the same amount of DNA in each sample.
