通过试验研究, 结合山东省自然、经济条件, 总结出集约经营、农林间作、短轮伐期作业的杨树速生丰产栽培技术。应用该技术, 杨树速生丰产林4~6年长成檩材, 8~10年长成梁材, 每亩年均生长量为1立方米, 与过去粗放经营的杨树人工林相比, 成材年限缩短5~10年, 林木生长量提高3~5倍。到1984年底, 山东省已推广杨树速生丰产林6万公顷, 产生了显著的社会经济效益。

Through experimental research combined with the natural and economic conditions of Shandong Province, this work summarized high-yield and fast-growing poplar cultivation technologies characterized by intensive management, agroforestry intercropping, and short-rotation operations. When applying these technologies, fast-growing and high-yield poplar plantations can produce purlin timber in 4 to 6 years and beam timber in 8 to 10 years, with an annual average growth volume of 1 cubic meter per mu. Compared with traditionally extensively managed poplar plantations, this approach shortens the felling cycle by 5 to 10 years and increases tree growth volume by 3 to 5 times. As of the end of 1984, Shandong Province had promoted 60,000 hectares of fast-growing and high-yield poplar plantations, yielding significant social and economic benefits.
