Oil production share of selected countries in Europe and the CIS 2023

In 2023, Russia accounted for 11.5 percent of the global oil production, making it the largest oil producer of Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. By comparison, Norway's oil production share stood at around two percent. Combined, all the selected European and CIS countries accounted for 17.4 percent of the world's crude oil production.
