Forest Divisions

Limits of public property containing forests, wooded pastures and certain non-forest areas such as pasture, meadows or fields adjacent to the forest. The layer describes the owner who may be the confederation, the canton, mixed communes or bourgeoisies, parishes as well as the few private owners subject to the obligation to draw up a forest management plan (> 50 ha.) Forest areas are divided into different sectors of exploitation called forest divisions. This is especially useful for the implementation of the forest management plan. The Nature field describes the form in which the division concerned is classified.
