We analyzed variants on 21 cancer-related genes in cattle developing enzootic bovine leukosis (EBL) by amplicon sequencing. To identify somatic mutations, 2 sample pairs (blood and tumor samples) per one EBL case were used for the analysis, and their variants were compared to each other. We identified the mutation existing only in tumor samples as somatic mutation.
