To determine the effect of caspofungin (CSP) treatment and/or loss of the SET domain-containing CgSet4 protein on the transcriptional response of log-phase C. glabrata cells. RNA-Seq analysis was conducted on CAA medium-grown log-phase Candida glabrata wild-type (wt) and CgSET4-deleted (Cgset4D) cells in the presence and absence of caspofungin. Overall design: The study was designed to profile the transcriptomes of C. glabrata wild-type and Cgset4? strains grown in the regular CAA medium (CAA) and caspofungin-containing CAA medium (CSP; 0.25 µg/ml) for 1 hour via RNA-Sequencing approach. The experiment was performed with two biological replicate samples for each strain/condition.
