OFAM3_SST_GBR

This repository contains daily sea surface surface temperature (SST) data from the historic run during 1979 – 2014 and a future climate downscaling run under a high-emission scenario of Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 (RCP8.5) during 2006 – 2101 of the Ocean Forecasting Australia Model Version 3 (OFAM3) for the Great Barrier Reef region.  These data have been used in the study "A machine learning approach to rapidly downscale sea surface temperature extremes and heat stress on the Great Barrier Reef", Geophysical Research Letters.

本数据集仓库包含针对大堡礁区域的澳大利亚海洋预报模型第3版（Ocean Forecasting Australia Model Version 3, OFAM3）的两类逐日数据：一是1979年至2014年的历史模拟海表温度（Sea Surface Temperature, SST）数据；二是2006年至2101年在典型浓度路径8.5（Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5, RCP8.5）这一高排放情景下的未来气候降尺度模拟海表温度数据。上述数据集已被应用于发表在《地球物理研究快报》（Geophysical Research Letters）的题为"一种快速降尺度大堡礁海表温度极端事件与热胁迫的机器学习方法"的研究论文中。
