Selected bones of <i>Sulf1</i>^−/−<i>Sulf2</i>^−/− embryos show decreased volume.

µCT images of E18.5 embryos were thresholded to visualize only mineralized bone. Volumes are expressed in mm3 units and are shown as a mean±SEM. The volumes of the left and right humerus, femur, frontal, and parietal bones were averaged to obtain a value for each embryo. Control embryos (n = 4) had the Sulf1+/−Sulf2+/− genotype. Double mutant embryos (n = 8) had the Sulf1−/−Sulf2−/− genotype. Statistical significance was assessed using a two-tailed Student's t-test.
