DIRECTIONS AND ADVANTAGES OF USING BEHAVIORAL THERAPY IN WORKING WITH CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER

This article highlights the pedagogical significance of using innovative didactic games in the development of students with mental retardation. The study scientifically and theoretically analyzes the impact of didactic games on students' cognitive activity, mental processes (attention, memory, thinking), speech development, and social adaptation. It also reveals effective pedagogical opportunities for using didactic games in special educational institutions and in inclusive education. The article substantiates the educational, educational, and developmental functions of game activity and emphasizes the need for systematic use of didactic games in working with students with mental retardation.
