Data associated with Trotter error norm calculations in "Fault-tolerant quantum simulation of generalized Hubbard models".
The data uploaded includes 1) text files defining pre-calculated operators in a Jordan-Wigner representation, whose spectral norm we aim to calculate, 2) Python files and 3) output files.
We use the Python interface to the Block2 code to calculate the lowest eigenvalues of the provided operators. For each operator, we calculate the lowest eigenvalue of both the operator (labelled "plus") and minus the operator (labelled "minus"). The maximum of the absolute values of these two eigenvalues is taken as the spectral norm.
