National Museum of Natural Science

With the funding of Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program (TELDAP), the National Museum of Natural Science has digitized and shared specimen data on fungi, plants, insects, mollusks, echinoderms, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, dolphins and whales, and other mammals. Some geological information is also provided. The insect specimens include Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, and Hemiptera. The plant specimens include low-elevation plants and vascular plants in Taiwan. The specimen collection time is between 1950 and 2009; the main locality is Taiwan. The lepidopteran insect has the largest number of specimens, followed by order Urticales of plants. A total of 41,151 records have been exported to TaiBIF.本项目获台湾数位学习与数字档案计划（Taiwan e-Learning and Digital Archives Program, TELDAP）资助，国立自然科学博物馆（National Museum of Natural Science）已完成真菌、植物、昆虫、软体动物、棘皮动物、鱼类、两栖类、爬行类、鸟类、鲸豚类及其他哺乳类的标本数据数字化工作并公开共享，同时附带部分地质相关信息。其中昆虫标本涵盖鳞翅目（Lepidoptera）、鞘翅目（Coleoptera）与半翅目（Hemiptera）；植物标本包含台湾低海拔植物与维管植物。标本采集时间介于1950年至2009年之间，主要采集地为台湾。鳞翅目昆虫标本数量居各分类群之首，其次为植物中的荨麻目（Urticales）类群。本次共计导出41151条记录至台湾生物多样性资讯平台（TaiBIF）。
