As one of the most important economic traits of geese, skeletal muscle is the main component of meat. miRNAs and lncRNAs are critical regulatory factors in the growth and development of skeletal muscle. However, the regulatory mechanisms of miRNAs and lncRNAs in the different growth stages of goose skeletal muscle are still not clear. In this study, we selected leg muscles of Magang geese at 20 embryo age (E20) and 3-day post-hatch (P3) and 3 months of age (M3) for transcriptome sequencing to explore the roles and mechanisms of lncRNA and miRNA in the growth and development of goose skeletal muscle, providing a reference for further research.
