This dataset is derived from a research paper focusing on the molecular regulation of secondary forest tree growth and environmental stress response mechanisms. The dataset covers xylem development, cadmium (Cd) bioaccumulation concentration, and antioxidant defense in poplar trees under combined nitrogen (N) and cadmium treatment conditions. The study investigated the effects of synergistic nitrogen and cadmium application on the growth and development of poplars, and found that nitrogen application promoted the cadmium bioaccumulation concentration and accumulation capacity in poplar stems, thereby enhancing the plant-mediated cadmium extraction pathway from cadmium-contaminated soil.
