National Cohort Research Education with stable demographic background data of the PO and VO cohorts (from 01-09-2007)

National Cohort Research Education (NCO) The NCO microdata files were compiled by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) for the National Cohort Research Education (NCO). The NCO has been initiated and is funded by the National Educational Research Agency (NRO). For these files, existing register data from the social-statistical files (SSB) of CBS and existing educational records of the Education Basic Register (BRON) of the Education Implementation Service (DUO) have been combined. This file contains the unchanging, stable demographic data at person level, of all persons from all pre-existing and supplemented Primary Education (PO) and Secondary Education (VO) backbone files. Every year, when a new cohort and thus new pupils are added, the stable background file is supplemented.
