This series consists of a register for trackwork and rail correspondence.Each opening has seven columns marked with correspondence number or file number, subject, filed [subject filed under], initials of employee who dealt with the correspondence, date, to and Details.These entries appear to record each piece of correspondence by date received relating to the Trackwork Section, which file it was placed upon and under what section it was filed. Some entries may relate to the general correspondence system held in VPRS 12748, contract numbers and various internal correspondence systems.
