This dataset provides vacation climate index data at 3-, 6-, and 12-hour intervals for the next three days, covering 72 grid points in Anji, with two rolling updates per day. Based on refined grid forecasting technology, this dataset can provide users with location-based high-resolution vacation climate information. Users can directly access and use this data by matching the nearest grid point based on their actual location upon retrieval. This data can directly provide real-time weather condition assessments for the tourism industry, helping tourism planners and tourists make more reasonable travel arrangements and enhance their travel experience. By automatically extracting 3-, 6-, and 12-hour interval objective forecast products for intelligent grids across the Anji region, establishing the statistical correlation between meteorological elements and vacation climate indices, and combining the standardized Vacation Climate Index (HCI) algorithm with locally adapted rules, the 3-, 6-, and 12-hour interval intelligent grid objective forecast products of vacation climate indices are automatically generated. The standardized HCI algorithm is composed of three factors—thermal comfort factor, aesthetic factor, and physical factor—with different weight coefficients, integrating meteorological elements including air temperature, humidity, precipitation, cloud cover, and wind speed. Its calculation formula is as follows: HCI = 4T + 2A + (3R + V); T = Ta - 0.55(1 - Rh)(Ta - 14.4). Herein, T represents the effective temperature, which stands for the thermal comfort factor, i.e., human perception of temperature intensity, and is calculated using the maximum air temperature Ta and relative humidity Rh; A is the cloud cover proportion, representing the aesthetic factor; R denotes precipitation, and V denotes wind speed, which together represent the physical factor. The HCI is calculated based on the aforementioned formula, and the corresponding tourism climate classification standards are established.
