Internet Research Agency Tweet Metadata (IDs & Annotations), June 2015–Dec 2017

This dataset provides a cleaned, metadata‑only snapshot of the Internet Research Agency’s Twitter activity, comprising 2.97 million tweets from 2,848 identified IRA handles. For each tweet (dating from June 19, 2015 through December 31, 2017), it includes only non‑copyrighted identifiers and derived annotations—Tweet IDs, numeric author IDs, region and language codes, follower/following counts, activity metrics, post type and account classifications, and expanded URL redirects—ensuring full compliance with Twitter’s Developer Agreement. By omitting tweet text and profile handles, the collection supports reproducible, non‑commercial research into the temporal dynamics and network structure of coordinated disinformation campaigns without redistributing licensed content.
